Project Description
This project involved the construction of a new Control Building, Substation and 75 No. Turbine Bases as an extension to the existing Whitelee Windfarm, located close to Glasgow in Scotland. During the works, 650,000m³ of peat/alluvial soil had to be moved and incorporated into the landscape. There was also 50,000m³ of concrete poured into the turbine bases.
