Minister Shane Ross has officially opened the M17/N18 Gort to Tuam Motorway on 27th September.  Roadbridge constructed the Northern Section of this new vital piece of infrastructure on behalf of Direct Route. 

The Roadbridge fleet at the new Center Parcs Longford project is featured in the July/August 2017 edition of Machinery Movers Magazine, and shows our extensive range of plant.

The first phase of Galway Wind Park, consisting of 22 Turbines and with a total export capacity of 66 Megawatts, has been completed.

Roadbridge have won two prestigious awards at the 2017 Irish Construction Industry Awards, held on Tuesday 9th May 2017, at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road, Dublin.  These awards included 'Civil Engineering Contractor of the Year.'

Roadbridge would like to invite suppliers to attend a 'Construction Suppliers to Roadbridge' event at Cooney's Hotel, Ballymahon, Longford, on Tuesday 16th May 2017 from 17:00 to 21:00.  This event is to seek organisations intersted in supplying goods and services to the Center Parcs, Longford project.

United Utilities has picked an Irish contracting joint venture between Roadbridge and Farrans to deliver a major water mains building programme in West Cumbria, with construction work scheduled to begin mid-2017.

Following the launch of the Business Impact Map for 2016 by Business in the Community Ireland, Roadbridge have synopsised our CSR Data over the period of 2015-2016, to highlight the postive impact we are having on the communities with which we interact. 

Roadbridge have won three awards at the 2017 Considerate Constructors Awards, which took place in Edinburgh and London, picking up our first gold award along the way. 

New figures released by BITCI shows 56 companies in Ireland contributed over €32 million, and 227,144 hours volunteering, to charities and community groups in 2016 as part of their CSR engagement.  Roadbridge are proud to be involved as one of these companes

For the second year running, the Roadbridge Head Office Canteen has been awarded a Food Safety Professionals Association award at a ceremony in Dublin.

Roadbridge are happy to annouce that we have been successful in our tender for the new Center Parcs Longford Forest Holiday Village, where the company has been awarded the infrastructure package.  Work is scheduled to begin on the project in May 2017. 

Roadbridge are delighted to announce the recent appointment of David Sloyan as Director of Roadbridge UK Limited. David will direct UK operations from our UK Office at Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.

Dersalloch Windfarm, a 23 Turbine Wind Farm constructed by Roadbridge during 2015 & 2016 has officially been powered on, providing clean, green electricity to over 40,000 homes.

The Athea Wind Farm has been annouced as Winner of the Energy & Carbon Category at the CEEQUAL Outstanding Achievement Awards 2016.  These prestigious awards only take place every three years, so this is a fantastic accolade for the project team.

Roadbridge, operating as part of the Roadbridge/Aibel Joint Venture have successfully pre-qualified for the E6 Kolomen to Arnkvern in Norway.  Four bidders have been selected to go forward to the tender stage.

 The Corrib Onshore Gas Pipeline has been voted Engineering Project of the Year, it has been announced.  The project was undertaken by Shell E&P (Ireland) Ltd, RPS Group Ltd, Roadbridge Ltd, BAM and W&F JV and won out in the flagship category of the seventh annual Engineers Ireland Excellence Awards.

The latest issue of Sustainability Ireland (Volume 7 August 2016) features an article about the recent success enjoyed by the Galway Wind Park Delivery Team at the Irish Construction Industry Awards, where the team, including Roadbridge, took home the 'Excellence in Sustainability' award.
